For the Interaction Design Fundamentals course at CMU, we had to identify a market and portray its respective clientelle. We did a competitive analysis on travel magazines. Given the results, I created two personas to define to whom the magazine would cater to. Afterwards, I created a mood board to visualize what design would better align with the emotions the personas look for in this subject.
Based on our research, I had to design for the targets using all learned techniques in the course. The resulting design - Green - is a tourism magazine aimed towards people whose natural habitat is the urban jungle, but like to escape to the wilderness every now and then to rekindle their deep connection to Mother Earth.
